This is the Week That Was!!!

Last Sunday, we took the girls snowshoeing. They loved it but it was work for me. Maddie kept stepping on the back of Ed's snow show. It was a beautiful day to be out. I got some great images. Check out my website for more photos.

This week went by extremely fast. Some days I feel like there is never enough time to do everything I have to do at work. I am running on all 12 cylinders. Next week isn't going to be any better. I am traveling all over central United States. Wish me luck.

Happy Presidents Day

Well the rain finally stopped and now we are frozen. I have a three day weekend and I am looking forward to it. I have been working all day on my card shop and rearranging my website. I am going to spend tomorrow looking for a few photo opportunities to finish my photography homework.

Here's one I took yesterday at work.

Snowfall

This weekend we got a few more inches of snow. The flakes were huge some times. I tried capturing them with my camera. Not an easy task. I have a long weekend coming up and I am hoping to get out and do photography. It is difficult sometimes. It's real cold this morning and very windy. A good day to stay home, too bad I have to go to work.

Hike to Dana

Well I had this bright idea to take the dogs, husband and camera to walk to the town of Dana. For those of you who do not know who or what Dana is, it is one of the towns that was submerged when the Quabbin Reservoir was made. You can still walk to the center of town. Well we left Saturday morning, not thinking too much about rain we got last night, but when we arrived at Gate 40, the road leading to Dana was shear ice. If we had crampon or ice skates we probably could have gotten there with a lot of work. This part of the Quabbin is about 35 minutes north of East Brookfield. Well maybe next weekend. I did get a couple of images from along side the road on the way home. There is a couple more in my gallery.
