Ed turns 60
My husband turned sixty on the 24th of January. I think his birthday is bothering me more than it is him. He seems to be taking it all in stride. Aaron and I gave him a party on Saturday. All our friends came. His nieces Jenna and Misty came up from Maryland to help celebrate.

I have been sitting here printing out postcard invitations for my husband's birthday. Out of the corner of my eye, I see this red blur on the bush outside my window. It was a beautiful male cardinal. I got so excited, I scared it away. This was the first time he showed up. I have seen tit-mice, purple finch, sparrows, and chickadee's but not the cardinal. I hope I didn't scare it a way for good.

We have had about 27" of snow since the beginning of December. The girls, of course, love the snow. I haven't used the camera since the 31st of December. This isn't getting my resolution of shooting more accomplished.
